Co-Marketing Initiatives
Working together to cross-promote your competition means more eyes on your code and more vulnerabilities found. Depending on how much lead time we have, here are the most effective ways we can collaborate with you/your marketing team:
Less than 5 business days lead time
- Audit start tweet: Once your C4 audit begins, we will post on Twitter to alert our community. This tweet will include the audit graphic, a link to the page on C4’s website and the prize pool value.
- Audit closing soon, awarding, and report tweets: We’ll create graphics and comms throughout your audit, and share them with you in the discord when we publish.
- Amplification of Sponsor tweets: While we will be sharing tweets covering competition announcements, you are also welcome to share any posts you’d like us to retweet for extra coverage.
5+ business days lead time:
- Do a code walk-thru: This is one of the highest-leverage things you can do to increase participation and get more eyes on your code. We’ll set up the event, create graphics and comms, and handle recording and video editing. You’ll just need to show up in the discord and walk wardens through your code.
- Minimum lead time required: 5 business days prior to the competition start date
- Audit coming soon tweet: 2-3 days before launch, we will post on Twitter to alert our community. This tweet will include the competition graphic, a link to the page on C4’s website and the prize pool value.
- Minimum lead time required: 2 business days prior to the contest start date
- Audit closing soon, awarding, and report tweets: We’ll create graphics and comms throughout your audit, and share them with you in the discord when we publish.
- Amplification of Sponsor tweets: While we will be sharing tweets covering competition announcements, you are also welcome to share any posts you’d like us to retweet for extra coverage.
- Minimum lead time required: N/A. These posts can be shared with the C4 team and retweeted with minimal lead time.
