The highest-priority things you can do to ensure a successful C4 audit are:
π€ Transfer funds on time
- [ ] Transfer your deposit to kick off marketing and promotions (if you haven't already). If we donβt receive funds on time, your launch date will be pushed back.
- [ ] A txn hash is always helpful so we can easily confirm receipt.
π₯ Team & logistics coordination
- [ ] Complete the setup form at least 48 hours (2 business days) before your audit starts.
- [ ] Invite your team to the group chat to coordinate your audit with C4 staff

π§βπ» Set up your audit repo
Once you submit the setup form, youβll be invited to a private repo in our Github org. This repo will be used by Code4rena wardens to audit your code, once the audit launches.
Your repo is the source of truth for:
- Code to be reviewed
- Audit scope
- Known issues / intended design choices
- Documentation
Since wardens submit findings throughout the submission phase, itβs important that the repo be 100% complete and accurate prior to launch.
- [ ] At least 48 hours (2 business days) before your audit starts.
- [ ] Provide a final code commit
- [ ] If possible, add an Overview section to introduce your project to C4 wardens. (Code walkthroughs, diagrams, etc. are especially valuable.)
- [ ] Add any details to the
README
****(feel free to open a PR in the repo).
- [ ] If your own code repo is public, be prepared for a π¨code freezeπ¨ for the duration of the audit β critical because it maintains a level playing field. We want to ensure everyone's looking at the same code, no matter when they look during the audit. Any PRs opened during the submission phase can leak alpha to our wardens!
π Review and mitigate findings
- [ ] Review the findings in your sponsor dashboard
